BGC Contracting Awarded Major Contract on Pluto LNG Project

BGC Contracting has been awarded the Offsite and Utility Area Civil Works contract for Site B on the Woodside Burrup Pty Ltd - Pluto LNG Project. This is the significant second portion of the civil works on Site B and is valued in excess of $150 million.
The works commenced on site in the last week of November 2008, with an overall duration of about 12 months.
Greg Heylen, Executive General Manager Civil said, "This award is the third major contract that BGC has been involved with on the Pluto LNG Project, the other two being the Site A - Site Preparation Works and the Concrete LNG Storage Tank Works. It continues our successful association with Woodside Energy, after having completed significant work on the North West Shelf Venture - Train V Expansion project. We look forward to being a significant contributor to Woodside and their projects in the future."
